Tell us what is broken, or what is missing.
Read by the people who build this, and answered by them. Say what happened, what you expected instead, and which phone you are on.
What to send where
- Something is broken. What you did, what happened, what you expected, and the phone and version. Screenshots help and are welcome; never send us your recovery words, and nobody here will ever ask for them.
- A feature you want. Tell us the situation rather than the button. "My mother cannot tell which message is from the bank" is more useful to us than "add a filter", because it leaves room for a better answer than the one either of us thought of first.
- Something feels wrong with how we behave. A claim on this site you think is overstated, a design that made you uncomfortable, an article of ours that got a fact wrong. These get read carefully. Corrections go on the page rather than being quietly edited away.
- A security flaw. Pick that subject, and read how we handle reports first.
- Press. Pick Press, and say your deadline.
What happens to what you send
Your name, your email address and your message are stored so that a person can answer you, and they are emailed to the team. That is a database on a website, and it is worth being clear about the difference: the app asks for nothing and holds nothing about you. This is a website, and a website that answers bug reports has to know where to send the answer.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not pass any of it to anybody else, and it is never connected to an account in the app, which is not something we could do even if we wanted to. The privacy policy says the same in its own words.
